This is the house that was above ours, just an amazing sunset and I wish I'd gotten a better picture of it; the real thing is always better.
This is one of two twin baby birds that grew up in one of my mom's hanging plants in the driveway of our house (it's mom was my favorite bird we say in Costa Rica: a small, blue bird with a gray stomach). This wormish thing grew up and moved out right about the time I left:

Costa Rican.... things... can never remember what they're called... some kind a weird racoon that is NOT shy of people... (they bit a guy's hand when he was teasing them with food)...
