::The Secret of Kells::

I apologize for not taking the time to get on here.  There's just so much to do!  And of course, when there's so much to do... I'm amazed at how much time I seem to waste... especially at this job where I can barely keep my eyes open if I'm not watching a movie after the first two hours...

So that's what I did today!  I watched, "The Secret of Kells."  I was warned against it because my friends were like, "Oh no!  Irish mythology is creepy!"  But actually, "The Secret of Kells" doesn't seem to have a lot of Irish mythological things in it except a fairy, and an evil dark power, but it's a new, original story.  I wouldn't have thought to watch it except for that Matt and Elly were watching it and I walked in the room and was sorta mesmerized by the originality and the flow of the animation.

P.S. more and more I learn that other people (including myself) can never really know what other people will or will not like. I always say I like fairytales and people are like, "Oh, but the real Grimms fairytales are awful and creepy," and I'm like, "Yeah, well, I read the real fairytales and I THINK THEY'RE AWESOME!"

"The Secret of Kells" is a rather surprisingly sad, creative story about the creation of the Book of Kells (completely fiction though).  (It's really cute too, don't think it's a complete downer).  I thought the point of the story was really, really interesting.  It's about art.  I didn't catch it until I watched the whole thing, and then saw the beginning part again and I was like, "Oh, okay, I get the picture now!"

It's on netflix if you wanna see it.  I recommend it.  But it's strange, so if sad and strange things frighten you, perhaps this is not for you.
