Our last day in Agra I decided to brave seeing the Agra Fort and the Baby Taj Mahal (the tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah) by myself. The Mini/baby taj has the tombs of the family of the famous Nur Jahan, a queen who ruled India when her husband Jahangir was too sick because of his opium addictions. My friends were tired so I went ahead with our taxi driver (Tahir), who we already knew and trusted.
I left a little after 6 in the morning, and it was awesome because only me and a group of Chinese people were at the fort, and when I got to the Baby Taj--I was the only one there. I don't know why the Chinese people took FOREVER outside the fort, but they wouldn't go inside FOREVER and so I didn't go inside too much since it was kindof creepy by myself... but I did see the view of the Taj Mahal from the fort. That was the main thing I wanted to see because the Agra Fort is where Shah Jahan died imprisoned by his son, Aurangazeb, but at least he had a view of life's work: the tomb of his favorite wife.
I hurried over to the Baby Taj once I got a quick view inside the Agra Fort with my Chinese friends. I ran out after I called Tahir since I only had til 8 to be back and go to our train... the guard laughed at me because I ran the wrong way and had to run back... Once Tahir got me to the Baby Taj I got my own personalized tour by this kind little old man who helped me know all the best places to take pictures and offered to take several snaps of me in front of it.

The Baby Taj... called "baby" or "mini" for a reason--it's quite small subside the fact that it has 7 tombs, but it was definitely worth seeing.
My little old friend told me that's real gold up there! No wonder parts of it look like it was broken off...
Always good to have a person take a snap for you.
I think part of the reason I loved the mini Taj was just because I got great pictures of it.
One of the entrances around the Taj Mahal. Here are some of the photos taken with my own camera. Who doesn't wanna see more of the Taj Mahal anyways?
Some examples of the kind of marble work inside the Taj Mahal.
We'll say I'm riding this camel at this moment... rather than just sitting on it...
